at the Cuban Pavilion, EXPO 2000, Hanover
May until October 2000

Since May 2000, digame artconsult has been participating in various exhibitions at the Cuban pavilion at the EXPO 2000 in Hanover. July 26, Cuba’s national holiday, was certainly one of the highlights. Pável Miguel Jiménez and David Planas welcomed an important delegation of international visitors for this special occasion.
German minister Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul was accompanied by a Cuban student and singer, who she met during her visit to Havana in May 2000.
On August 28, 2000, digame artconsult put on an exhibition with works by Ismary Gonzáles Cabrera. This young artist has been specializing in portraits of women, sometimes using classic oilpaints, other times provocative paper collages. The trio Los Bohemios put together a special women’s program for the opening ceremonies, which was also attended by the Cuban ambassador.
